Jeanbio: ISO9001 certification

Jeanbio acquired the ISO9001 certification in the first semester of 2021. The certificate was awarded by the IQCert based in Athens, Greece.

Jeanbio always strives to provide sustainable and healthy products for its consumers since its inception in 2003. The company started producing CBD Skin Care cosmetics in 2007 after implementing fairtrade initiatives with farmers in Greece.

ISO 9001 is the most stringent of the family, requiring that organizations adhere to an audited process to achieve it. The procedures for quality management systems must be certified (but this isn't a requirement). It may be used by any type of organization, big or small, in any field of activity. There are over 1 million businesses and organizations in over 170 countries that have received ISO 9001 certification.

According to ISO 9001:2008, quality management standards, the objective is "to reduce the risk of material or process deficiencies that may lead to product failure." The primary intent of this standard is "to minimize the possibility of product failure caused by manufacturing or technical faults" (ISO 9001:2008). The goal of ISO 9001 is to provide a high-quality product or service. This objective is based on several quality factors, which are outlined in ISO's quality management principles. Using ISO 9001 helps ensure that customers receive consistent, high-quality goods and services, which leads to many commercial advantages.
